GEORGE TOWN, Dec 13 (Bernama) --- The Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) has announced that 3,500 consumer accounts in Balik Pulau will experience scheduled water supply disruption from 10 pm tonight until 4 am tomorrow (Dec 14).
The PBAPP informed in a statement that the affected areas include Jalan Kampung Terang, Jalan Pulau Betong, Jalan Genting, and Jalan Sungai Nipah.
It explained that the six-hour disruption was due to Zero Pressure Testing/Valve Simulation Tests on Jalan Sungai Nipah and Jalan Kampung Terang, and advised affected consumers to store sufficient water for the period.
The corporation apologised for any inconvenience caused and said it would provide updates on the disruption through its official PBAPP Penang Facebook page.
