HELSINKI, Jan 23 (Bernama-dpa) -- Singaporean multinational telecommunications conglomerate StarHub and Finland's telecoms giant Nokia have announced a partnership in the area of fourth and fifth generation (4G and 5G) mobile communication technology, reported German news agency dpa.
StarHub and Nokia have partnered on application programming interfaces (APIs) to drive 5G and 4G application development in various enterprise verticals, Nokia said in a statement on Thursday.
The two companies are targeting new applications in banking, finance, ports, online streaming and the public sector, Nokia stated.
Nokia noted that StarHub's 5G and 4G networks will connect to Nokia's Network as Code platform, which includes a developer portal, providing developers with a seamless pathway for creating new applications.
