KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated the FAM eRimau squad and national player Ahmad Muhaimin who won the FIFAe World Cup 2024 Ft. eFootball Mobile competition.
"Continue to excel and bring glory to the country on the world stage," said Anwar via X today.
In yesterday's final, the FAM eRimau squad created history when they won the tournament after defeating Morocco 2-0.
Malaysia, represented by Ahmad Muhaimin or known as Minbappe, won the first match 3-0 and the second match 2-0 to be crowned champions, thus taking home a cash prize of RM80,000.
Malaysia is the first ASEAN country to win the tournament.
