KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of continuous rain in Sabah and Sarawak until Wednesday (Jan 29) and Thursday (Jan 30).
It said in a statement that the areas in Sarawak likely to be affected by heavy rain at a severe level until Thursday are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu), and Miri (Subis and Miri).
Meanwhile, continuous rain at an alert level is forecast for Kapit (Kapit), Bintulu (Sebauh), and Miri (Beluru and Marudi).
In Sabah, West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Tawau (Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat are expected to experience continuous rain at an alert level until Wednesday.
