DPM, Cabinet Ministers Convey Condolences Over Passing Of Lukanisman's Father

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 2 (Bernama) -- Several members of the Cabinet today expressed their condolences to Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni on the passing of his father, Awang Sauni Pengiran Anis.

According to an announcement by Lukanisman on his Facebook, his father breathed last at about 2.45 am in his sleep.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, in a post on Facebook,  hoped that Lukanisman and his family would be strong and patient in accepting this test.

“From Allah we come and to Allah we return. My condolences to my friend Lukanisman on the passing of his father. May the deceased be placed among the believers, and his soul be blessed by Him. Al Fatihah,” he said.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad also conveyed his deep sorrow, along with that of the staff at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, over the passing of Lukanisman’s father, describing the loss of a father as a great loss and an irreplaceable and incomparable void in one’s life.

"We pray that Lukanisman and the entire family will continue to be blessed with strength and perseverance in accepting this test.  We also pray that all of the deceased's good deeds will be accepted by Allah SWT, that all his sins will be forgiven and that he will be placed among the righteous," he said via Facebook.

Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri also expressed her condolences to the family of Lukanisman, who Member of Parliament for Sibuti.

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. With great sadness, I express my condolences to Lukanisman on the passing of his beloved father. May the soul of the deceased be blessed and placed among the faithful. Al-Fatihah," she said on her Facebook today.

Minister of Works Alexander Nanta Linggi expressed his sympathy and prayed that Lukanisman and his family would be given perseverance and peace of mind in facing this trial.

"Condolences from me and all the people of the Ministry of Works," he said via Facebook.
