KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Twelve students from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bukit Bandaraya, Bangsar, are set to shine on the international stage as they represent Malaysia at a prestigious dance competition in Bandung, Indonesia.
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, in a Facebook post, said the group, known as the ‘Dazzle Dancers’, comprises students aged between 10 and 12 and is scheduled to leave for Bandung tomorrow.
“They are not only representing their school but also carrying the country’s name in three categories, namely group, duo and solo,” said the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament.
He said the group had undergone three weeks of intensive training under the guidance of talented choreographer Cikgu Mohd Nazri Zahauddin, a dance coach from PERMATA Seni Tari.
“Let us all pray for the success of the Dazzle Dancers. Malaysia boleh!” he said.
