KUANTAN, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- The roar of 25 high-powered motorcycles from the Daz Bikers Motorcycle Club enlivens the National Month celebration in Pahang through the state-level Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) 2025.
Pahang Information Department director Rohani Chik said the 600-kilometre expedition would tour five districts in Pahang, and will involve 13 vehicles from federal and state government agencies and 100 participants.
"After this, the convoy will move to Jerantut before continuing to Lipis, Cameron Highlands and finally Bentong, where the handover will be made to the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory convoy," she told Bernama and RTM before the convoy departed from the Paya Besar Community College here today.
She said the programme was not just about flying the Jalur Gemilang, but also aimed at fostering a spirit of love for the country and to enliven the National Month celebration.
Rohani said various activities, including involving community college students, local residents and the Orang Asli community, have been planned throughout KMJG 2025.
“At the first location, we are celebrating National Month with the students of the Paya Besar Community College because they are the young generation who will be the future leaders. In Cameron Highlands, we will be with the community in Kampung Orang Asli Kuala Boh,” she added.
