KUALA LUMPUR, April 30 -- BookDoc, is collaborating with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), to provide free tele-health services worth up to RM1 million to expand the reach of its services and COVID-19 awareness.
BookDoc founder Datuk Chevy Beh said the services provided are free health tele-consult services on COVID-19 or other health issues such as mental health, to support fellow athletes which stayed at home due to Movement Control Order (MCO) and health coaching by nutritionists and dietitians.
“Covid-19 pandemic is humanity’s biggest challenge in modern times and have affected our lives in so many ways. To win this invisible enemy war, it is our responsibility to take the actions we are able to and act swiftly as events unfolds, in order to stem the virus," Beh said in a statement.
Meanwhile, according to the statement, Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said the tele-health service initiative by BookDoc was very timely especially during MCO, where everyone is encouraged to stay at home.
"Thanks to BookDoc, this complimentary offer will now be accessible by national athletes, former athletes, youth leaders, and students and trainees under IKBN (National Youth Training Institute ) and ILKBS (Youth and Sports Skills Training Institute) ” Reezal Merican said.
