KANGAR, Oct 17 (Bernama) -- Former Ministry of Finance Football Club (MoF FC) chief coach Manzoor Azwira Abd Wahid has been appointed as Perlis Football Association (PFA) chief coach for the 2019 season.
PFA president Datuk Ahmad Amizal Shaifit Ahmad Rafie said Manzoor Azwira was selected based on his experience and he had played in Malaysia League representing Penang and Perlis apart from being chief coach of Penang Football Association President Cup squad.
"We hope he would bring a fresh breath to this team and return Perlis to the glory of Malaysian football excellence,” he said at a media conference here today.
The target is to bring Perlis to the main league next season, he added.
He will also be meeting all main players including the youth squad and president cup next week to discuss their salary arrears.
