PETALING JAYA, Sept 20 -- Entrepreneur Development Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof, believes that recognition awards could encourage youth entrepreneurship and reinforce the ministry’s efforts in line with the National Entrepreneurship Policy (DKN) 2030.
He told reporters after attending the Leadership Excellence Awards 2019 by Des Prix Infinitus Media yesterday: “Looking at the winners, many are successful young entrepreneurs, which is a positive sign … we have a high-potential next generation.
“The ministry very much supports this kind of initiative because it energises entrepreneurs and puts Malaysia on track to entrepreneurial success.”
A total of 70 awards were given out to outstanding leaders and accomplished industry players from here and across Asia.
“This initiative allows local entrepreneurs and those from overseas to make more connections while at the same time opens up new business opportunities and helps drive growth across industries and countries,” Des Prix Infinitus Media director, Hagenz Choo, told Bernama.
