IPOH, Feb 6 -- The Perak Football Association (PAFA) today confirmed that they have managed to secure the services of former Australian Under-23 player, Antony Golec and Cambodian Thierry Chantha Bin to strengthen the Bos Gaurus squad for their 2020 Malaysia League campaign.

PAFA honorary secretary Mohammad Azlin Mohd Nazri said the two players had signed one year contracts on Jan 28 after being recommended by head coach Mehmet Durakovic.

"The participation of these two players means we have completed the five import player quota, alongside with Leandro (Dos Santos), Guilherme De Paula and Rai Anderson," he told a press conference after announcing the Unity Shield 2020 match at PAFA Office, here today.

Golec, 29, was a midfielder who was with Badak Lampung FC last season in the Indonesian Liga 1 football league, while Chantha Bin, 23, is a defensive midfielder who was with Terengganu FC for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Mohammad Azlin noted that he was optimistic that both players would be able to provide the extra tonic for Perak’s Malaysia League campaign which starts on Feb 28.

"We hope they can give something positive to the team and the supporters this season," he said.
