KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 -- UOB Malaysia has partnered with business technology company, StoreHub, to help small food and beverage (F&B) businesses reduce operational costs amidst the growing demand for online food delivery service.
Under the partnership, the bank’s small F&B business customers can digitise their food ordering operations and save costs when using StoreHub’s tablet-based retail operating system and online food delivery service, Beep Delivery.
In a statement today, it said F&B businesses can save more as Beep Delivery’s transaction fees is only two per cent of the online sales, compared with other food delivery marketplaces that charge up to 30 per cent.
Businesses will receive a StoreHub digital tablet which comes equipped with a custom-built point of sale (POS) software system which allows them to manage their online and in-store transactions.
“The all-in-one system helps F&B businesses to keep tab on their menus, stock inventory movements and sales receipts, as well as generate daily sales activity reports,” UOB Malaysia said.
The bank said it will subsidise the customers’ monthly subscription to StoreHub’s operating system for up to six months.
Subsequently, the customers can continue to subscribe to StoreHub’s operating system at a 20 per cent lower rate compared to the package’s subscription fee.
