EAIC announces winners of photography contest

PUTRAJAYA, March 29  -- The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has announced the three grand prize winners of the photography competition themed Penguat Kuasa & Masyarakat: #mulakandenganintegrity (Enforcement & Society: #beginningwithintegrity) which ran from Dec 4 last year to Jan 8.

The first prize went to Munson Lasmat, Irwan Majid (second) and Khairul Ikmal Khairuddin (third) who  won cash worth RM1,000, RM750 and RM500 respectively, along with EAIC souvenir items and a certificate of participation.

EAIC chief executive officer Norhayati Ahmad said the competition was aimed at raising community and enforcement awareness on integrity and public confidence in the quality of service delivered by enforcement agencies in the country.

She said said EAIC received 125 entries from members of the public and a total of 317 photographs were submitted throughout the competition period.

"Consolation prizes in the form of EAIC souvenir items along with certificates of participation were also given away to 30 other participants,” she said in a statement here today.

Norhayati said the requirement of the competition was to capture representations of best practices in enforcement, which depict initiatives on work ethics, values and demonstrating integrity and efficiency in carrying out duties, from a community perspective.
