KOTA BHARU, April 25 -- Former national player Rezal Zambery Yahya has been appointed as assistant chief coach of Kelantan FC effective today.
The Red Warriors (TRW) Kelantan FC, in a statement on its Facebook page, said Rezal would help coach Marco Ragini Rezal to handle the team for the rest of the Premier League this season.
"Rezal played for the Kelantan FA team in 2001 and has an Asian Football Confederation Class A coaching licence,” it said.
In the statement, Rezal, 48, said he was confident of using his experience and knowledge to guide Kelantan FC to success.
Kelantan FC are lying fifth in the table with 14 points after nine matches.
