TFC II coach wants players to keep up winning momentum

KUALA NERUS, May 23 (Bernama) - Terengganu FC ll (TFC ll) coach Badrul Afzan Razali wants his boys to keep up their winning momentum when they face Kuching City FC in their postponed Premier League at the Sarawak Stadium, Kuching, tomorrow night.

With only two matches left to go in the first round of the league, the Kemaman-born coach called on his men to show their best, as they did when hosting the Southern Tigers at home last Friday.

"In Kuching, I want to see the same enthusiasm and high fighting spirit they showed against JDT ll.

"Our mission is as usual, that is to bring home three points to strengthen our position in the league before the end of the first round next month," he said when met at the team's training session at Gong Badak here yesterday.

The Turtles are currently in fourth place in the league with 13 points followed by Kuching City in fifth place with 11 points.

However, at the same time, Badrul Afzan also reminded the players not to get into the "comfort zone" and take lightly the threat of Kuching City who are coached by the highly experienced Irfan Bakti Abu Salim.

"For tomorrow night's match, I am a bit relieved because we are able to field three import players. Argzim (Argzim Redzovic) is able to return to action after being suspended for one match due to a red card.

"Besides that, five players from  Terengganu FC (TFC) namely Hakimi, Faiz Nasir, Engku Nur Shakir, Rahmat and Zuasyraf have also obtained release from the head coach Nafuzi Zain to help TFC ll tomorrow night," he added.
