HANGZHOU, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Following are the news in brief on the 13th day of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games today:
DRAGON BOAT:
The national dragon boat squad finished the men’s team 1000 metres (m) event in the seventh place out of 11 teams after clocking 4:40.912 seconds (s).
Indonesia took the gold (4:31.135s), hosts China grabbed the silver (4:31.182s), while Myanmar won the bronze (4:32.959s).
JUJITSU:
Malaysian jujitsu exponent Cassandra J Poyong missed out on a quarterfinal spot in the Below 57kg category after going down to Orapa Senathan from Thailand.
In the 1/16 bout held at the Xiaoshan Linpu Gymnasium, Cassandra lost 0-2 to Orapa.
EQUESTRIAN

The national camp's hopes of adding to its medal collection were dashed after S. Nageswaran, astride his horse Wanskjaer Cuneo, came out 12th in the individual jumping event at the Tonglu Equestrian Centre today.
Nageswaran was timed at 81.47 second (s) while the maximum time permitted is 80.00s.
XIANGQI

National xiangqi (Chinese chess) men's singles player Sim Yip How defeated compatriot Tan Yu Huat 2-0 in round six of the individual event at the Hangzhou Qi-Yuan (Zhili) Chess Hall.
In the women's individual event, Jee Xin Ru was held to a 1-1 draw by Singapore's Ngo Lan Huong.
