PUTRAJAYA, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- A special articles titled “Waspada Bom Jangka Ketika Bersukan” earned journalist Muhammad Zulkarnain Mohd Azman from the National News Agency of Malaysia (Bernama) an award at the 2023 National Sports Innovation Technology award here tonight.
Muhammad Zulkarnain was awarded the ISN-SAM Special Media Innovation award for his article, which was chosen over two others who submitted their respective articles.
“I never expected to be announced as a winner because others who took part in the competition were very good as well. I dedicate this win to my parents, editor and my friends who had helped to release the article,” he said.
Muhammad Zulkarnain who took part in the competition for the first time, said the objective of writing the article was to create awareness among members of the public about the dangers involved if sports activities are not participated in the right way.
Muhammad Zulkarnain received RM1,000 cash and a trophy which was presented by the National Sports Institute’s chief executive officer Ahmad Faedzal Md Ramli.
Also present were deputy minister of Youth and Sports Adam Adli Abd Halim and deputy minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup.
