KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- CIMB Bank Berhad today expressed their appreciation by presenting 450 food packs for iftar to Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) staff.
Its Group Corporate Communications (Group Brand and Marketing) regional head, Tammy Toh said the food pack contribution is part of CIMB’s annual event during Ramadan.
"CIMB is deeply honoured to be here today distributing Ramadan food packs. We believe Bernama has been incredibly supportive of all our initiatives and we are sincerely grateful for that. Wishing all Bernama staff a joyous iftar," she said.
Meanwhile, Berrnama chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, expressed gratitude for CIMB Bank Berhad's concern toward Bernama staff through this donation.
“We see CIMB's gesture as a sign of their care for those fasting and working during Ramadan. With these iftar packs provided, Bernama staff don't need to hurry to buy food to break their fast today," she said.
