Honor Malaysia Launches Four New Devices, Available April 25

KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- HONOR Malaysia launched four new devices, a lineup consisting of the HONOR Pad 9 5G, HONOR X7b 5G, HONOR MagicBook X 16 and HONOR Band 9, yesterday.

HONOR Malaysia said these devices will be available in HONOR stores nationwide, online platforms, authorised dealers and the HONOR official website from Thursday (April 25).

“The HONOR Pad 9, now available in 5G, comes in space grey and is priced at RM1,799. It comes with free gifts worth RM698, comprising a Smart Bluetooth Keyboard and HONOR CHOICE Pencil.

“Maxis is also offering the HONOR Pad 9 5G at RM47 per month with the Maxis Postpaid 79 plan, while CelcomDigi is offering the tablet for RM1 per month with its CelcomDigi Postpaid 5G 260 plan,” it said in a statement.

The tablet features a stunning 12.1 inch 2.5K Eye Comfort Display, 120Hz refresh rate and 88 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Its eight-speaker layout delivers 360-degree audio enhanced by HONOR Histen sound tuning and Bidirectional Vocal Enhancement.

The HONOR Pad 9 5G comes with 256GB storage and is powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 6 Gen 1 Mobile Platform for efficient performance. It also has a massive 8300mAh battery for all-day usage.

As for the HONOR X7b 5G, HONOR Malaysia noted that the device gives the biggest storage within its class with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, adding that it comes in two colours - flowing silver and emerald green - and is priced at RM899.

The statement said that, in terms of power, HONOR X7b 5G is equipped with a 6,000mAh massive battery and delivers up to three days of usage on a single charge.

“The HONOR X7b 5G has a 108MP Main Camera and 1/1.67-inch sensor that excels in low light alongside a portrait mode with 2X zoom, a multi-video recording feature, and dual stereo speakers with 200% high volume,” it said.

The HONOR MagicBook X 16, meanwhile, is a laptop offered in space grey at RM2,999 and every purchase comes with free gifts worth RM468, which include an HONOR Backpack, a one-year free Microsoft 365 subscription, and a three-year warranty.

This 16-inch HONOR FullView Display laptop features a 16:10 aspect ratio, 89 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 4.5mm slim side bezels, and a high resolution of 1920x1200. It is also powered by the 12th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-12450H Processor featuring four performance cores that effortlessly turbo up the laptop to 4.4GHz.

“With the HONOR Connect intelligent features, users can connect their HONOR smartphone to the HONOR MagicBook X 16 to conveniently access and manage notifications, answer calls and respond to texts and messages on the larger screen,” it said.

The fourth device, the HONOR Band 9, brings a modern design for fitness and health monitoring features, complete with a 1.57-inch AMOLED display, 96 training options and up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge.

The RM199 HONOR Band 9 comes in purple, black and blue, and users can get overall insights into their fitness routine, body age assessments and oxygen uptake.
