KOTA BHARU, April 30 (Bernama) -- Kelantan Darul Naim FC (KDNFC) has established a partnership with a South Korean company, CHS Football Korea for a football development programme in Kelantan.
KDNFC president Rozi Muhamad said the club signed a collaboration agreement with the company yesterday.
"This agreement was signed at the Club Affairs Office at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium where KDNFC was represented by me while CHS Football Korea was represented by its owner, Son Jin Young.
"This company owns a club that plays in the fourth division (K4) of the South Korean League, which is FC Sejong," he said in a statement today.
Commenting further, Rozi said the collaboration will open up wider space and opportunities for KDNFC competing in the Malaysian League to introduce the team's brand to the country involved.
"This agreement covers many things, especially involving efforts for develop football development programmes up to the grassroots level.
"Among the agreements are the exchange of under-20 and 23-year-old players, a programme to develop young talents in South Korea and sharing training and improving coaching knowledge," he said.
Meanwhile, Jin Young said he was happy with the collaboration between his company and KDNFC.
"I am confident that this agreement will be able to provide many benefits to both parties and I am happy to be able to work together to further expand the ties in grassroots development for both parties," he said.
