KUALA LUMPUR, May 31 (Bernama) -- The highly anticipated HONOR Magic6 Pro in a stunning, beautiful soft lavender shade called Cloud Purple is available for purchase nationwide starting today.
The limited-edition HONOR Magic6 Pro, boasting 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is now available for RM4,499. It comes in three attractive colours: Cloud Purple, Epi Green and Black, said a statement from HONOR.
"Purchase the HONOR Magic6 Pro and receive a complimentary HONOR CHOICE Watch, along with a gift bundle that includes HONOR Earbuds X6, a 365-day Front and Back Crack Replacement and a 1-Year Extended Warranty, valued at up to RM1,696.
"The HONOR Magic V2 is also on offer, with an RM800 instant rebate plus gifts worth RM1,748," read the statement, adding that the promotion ends on June 30.
Meanwhile, HONOR has rolled out the new MagicOS 8.0 update for the HONOR Magic6 Pro, introducing new apps available on the Magic Portal and other useful features to meet users' daily needs.
As part of the MagicOS 8.0 update, HONOR announced that the Magic Portal feature now supports 100 top applications across seven scenarios: travel, productivity, messaging, search, entertainment, shopping and social media.
"Magic Portal interactions are compatible with apps such as LINE, WhatsApp, Google Suite apps, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Taobao, eBay and more," HONOR said.
In the statement, HONOR also announced the availability of the new MagicOS 8.0 update for the HONOR Magic Series. Users of the HONOR Magic V2 series, including the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic V2 RSR and HONOR Magic5 Pro, can download and install the update from the settings menu starting today.
Based on Android 14, the MagicOS 8.0 brings an AI-powered intent-based user interface (IUI) with features like Magic Portal, Magic Capsule and Smart Folder. The update also includes various improvements in user interface, performance, privacy and battery efficiency. One notable feature is the new Ultra Power Saving Mode, designed to boost productivity and convenience through on-device AI.
The statement emphasised that the HONOR Magic Series prioritises user privacy by securely processing personal data on the device.
Additionally, MagicOS 8.0 introduces Blur Private Info, a feature within the Share menu that allows users to easily redact sensitive information such as names, passwords and contact details from images.
