MOSCOW, June 16 (Bernama-Sputnik) -- At least nine people, including an eight-year-old child, were injured in a shooting in the city of Rochester Hills in the US state of Michigan, reported Sputnik quoting a CNN report.
The report on Saturday, which cited Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, stated that law enforcement officers found firearms and three empty magazines when they arrived at the scene. According to the sheriff, nine, "maybe ten" people were injured.
It added that the suspect arrived at the scene, got out of the car, and fired "potentially 28 times." Police reportedly believe that the incident was random and the causes of the attack are being investigated.
The suspect is blocked in a house near the crime scene, with special forces and armoured vehicles deployed to assist local authorities.
