KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives settled higher today.
Spot month June 2024 contract rose 10.5 points to 1,595.5, July 2024 went up 7.5 points to 1,596.5, September 2024 gained 7.0 points to 1,583.5, and December 2024 added 5.5 points to 1,589.0.
Turnover surged to 70,595 lots from 47,262 yesterday, while open interest increased to 118,826 contracts from 92,891 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 0.35 per cent or 5.57 points to 1,590.95 from Tuesday's close of 1,585.38.
