NIBONG TEBAL, July 5 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecasted rain in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon in Sungai Bakap on the polling day for the state by-election tomorrow.
In a Facebook post, it said the weather will clear up in the evening.
Voters can obtain fast and accurate weather information by following MetMalaysia’s official social media channels and website at www.met.gov.my, or through the MyCuaca app available on Google Play and the App Store.
Voting for the by-election will take place from 8 am to 6 pm at nine polling centres involving 65 streams.
The by-election is a straight fight between Pakatan Harapan candidate Dr Joohari Ariffin and Nibong Tebal PAS vice-chief Abidin Ismail representing Perikatan Nasional.
