Presidents Of UAE, Indonesia Discuss Bilateral Ties In Phone Call

ABU DHABI, July 7 (Bernama-WAM) -- The president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received a phone call today from the president of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.

Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the discussion focused on bilateral cooperation and strategic relations between the two countries.

The discussion also included economic and investment cooperation that fosters sustainable development and prosperity while benefitting the people of both nations.

During the call, Sheikh Mohamed and Widodo exchanged congratulations and best wishes for the Islamic New Year. 

They prayed for a year of growth and prosperity for both countries, as well as for peace, security and stability for the Islamic world and all nations.

The two leaders also exchanged views on several issues of mutual interest.
