AZERBAIJAN'S SENSUM COFFEE & DINE SHINES AT GLOBAL CULINARY CHALLENGE IN KUALA LUMPUR

KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 (Bernama) -- Azerbaijan’s SENSUM Coffee & Dine restaurant team has made headlines by securing remarkable achievements at the prestigious Global Culinary Challenge held here from July 2-8.

In a statement on Friday the Azerbaijan Embassy in Malaysia said that previously SENSUM Coffee & Dine had won in the first round of the 4th Golden Shah National Culinary Championship on May 17 in Azerbaijan.

According to the statement, emerging victorious in the first round, the SENSUM Coffee & Dine team earned the winners' licence from the Azerbaijan Culinary Specialist Association.

This victory granted them the opportunity to represent Azerbaijan at the Global Culinary Challenge in Kuala Lumpur, a renowned international championship that draws competitors from across Europe and Asia.

“Our team, led by the Azerbaijan Culinary Specialist Association and supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, went to Malaysia to showcase the top-level professional skills of its members, representing Azerbaijan and SENSUM Coffee & Dine, in particular, in the most honourable way.

“We joined nine categories, including both team and individual performances involving cooking meat and fish dishes.

"The SENSUM Coffee & Dine team was awarded the silver cup in the overall standings, as well as three gold and seven silver medals for individual performances,” the statement read.

According to the statement, team performances brought them silver.

“We would like to congratulate our team for such an achievement, and wish the team members even more success in the future.”

“Participation in the Global Culinary Challenge championship is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to show all the love for the art of cooking and the creation of exquisite haute cuisine dishes,” it added.
