KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (Bernama) -- Oman police have launched a probe into a mosque shooting in Muscat that left at least four dead and several others injured.
In a statement, the police said they had taken all necessary security measures and procedures on Tuesday in response to the shooting in the vicinity of a mosque in the Al Wadi Al Kabir area, Muscat, the Omani capital.
“The process of gathering evidence and conducting investigations is ongoing,” the statement posted on the X platform said.
The Oman police extended sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
According to Anadolu Agency (AA) reports quoting police, at least four people were killed while several people were wounded in the shooting incident.
