"Kelantan received a higher allocation this year with RM0.24 billion for Rolling Plan 4 development projects compared to RM2.5 billion last year.

"There are 16 major projects to be implemented with this new allocation, including the Integrated River Basin Development of the Kota Bharu Flood Mitigation Plan costing approximately RM1.06 billion, the Sungai Golok Phase 3 project, and road upgrading works in Bandar Baru Tunjong," he said.

He told  this to reporters at the 2024 State Development Office (ICU JPM) Appreciation Ceremony here today.

Jasri added that the development projects also involve preliminary works to upgrade Jalan Salor, the construction of a new building for Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Binjai, the construction of an additional pathology block at Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, as well as building a rural water supply system in Kampung Manek Urai and Laloh in Kuala Krai.

He said  that so far, the federal government has approved 445 development projects in Kelantan, including the 92 new projects this year and 353 ongoing projects.
