KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 (Bernama) -- Taiwan Excellence recently launched the "One Good Habit, Love the Earth" campaign, a global sustainability initiative designed to inspire individuals to adopt small, impactful changes in their daily routines and cultivate simple yet effective green habits.

Taiwan Excellence, a globally recognised symbol of top-tier Taiwanese products, reported that the campaign has already inspired tens of thousands of individuals to take action through a range of online and offline activities.

“Featured regions include the United States, the European Union, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. The challenge prompts participants to adopt environmentally friendly actions for 21 days, such as using reusable water bottles or turning off lights when leaving a room,” it said in a statement today.

The statement further emphasised that consistent small actions over time can lead to significant habits, and the organisers hope that the campaign will pave the way for broader changes.

The statement highlighted that participants in Malaysia have the opportunity to win from a selection of 95 attractive prizes, including an automatic stove shutoff device from Yztek, a portable disinfectant device from Eleclean, the world’s smallest portable water filter from Mbran Filtra, and 5α scalp care products from Aromase.

Taiwan Excellence also announced that the grand prize is a round-trip ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei.

The challenge is open to everyone and involves three simple steps:

  1.   Visit the event website at https://bit.ly/te21dayhabit.
  2.   Share photos of your eco-friendly habits on Facebook or Instagram.
  3.   Tag Taiwan Excellence Malaysia’s Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtags #OneGoodHabitLoveTheEarth, #21DaysAction, #TELoveTheEarth, and #My21DaysAction.

Taiwan Excellence is also planning to hold two physical events in August and September.

“The August event, in collaboration with Seeds Malaysia and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina Yoke Kuan in Sekinchan, will involve planting 50 trees to support environmental protection. On September 1, an Eco Fair at the Perdana Botanical Garden will offer visitors the chance to explore Taiwanese products,” it said.

“Visitors also stand the chance to win attractive prizes at the fair and it is hoped that these activities will sow the seeds of environmental protection in more people,” it added.
