SHAH ALAM, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) and Enfrasys Solutions Sdn Bhd (Enfrasys) today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allowing SHRDC to incorporate a temporary 5G Private Network in its development centre for digital solution verification.

Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the MoU is in line with the state’s digitalisation effort in its administration as the people yearn for a more efficient delivery system in terms of government services.

"I am certain SHRDC stands to benefit from innovation and service delivery enabled by 5G Private Network, allowing for the exploration of potential benefits to enterprises in Selangor with enhanced industrial network reliability and performance.

… and driving digital transformation for industries and enterprises facilitated by leading technologies such as 5G, Edge Computing and AI," he said in his opening speech at the Enfrasys Summit 2024, Shaping the Future of Business with Technology, here today.

As the government aims to move faster into digitalisation, Amirudin noted that they have to be quick in adapting to changes while avoiding entrapment in a digital bubble by adopting user-friendly and problem-solving technologies to help with people's lives on a day-to-day basis.

"Today’s partnership is a testament that the state government of Selangor aims to identify key partners to quicken our pace of retraining and upskilling our workers to provide higher-income and better quality jobs for Selangorians,” he said.

The MoU was signed by Enfrasys chairman Datuk Syed Budriz Putra Jamalullail and SHRDC executive director Teh Sook Ling, witnessed by Amirudin and Selangor’s state executive councillor for Islamic affairs and cultural innovation, Dr Mohammad Fahmi Ngah.
