KBS Hails S'wak For Facility Upgrades, Top-notch Shooting Range Electronic System

KUCHING, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- The Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) has praised the Sarawak government for upgrading existing facilities to host the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA), especially the shooting range that has been equipped with an advanced electronic system.

Its Minister, Hannah Yeoh is confident that the efforts put in by the organiser could take the standards of the biennial Games to a higher level by producing more young talent who can be groomed to represent the country at the international level.

“I am happy to see that the facilities have been upgraded, especially the electronic system used in shooting here,...,” she told Bernama after visiting the SUKMA 2024 taekwondo athletes at the Unity Stadium today.

SUKMA 2024 features 37 sports and 488 events, spread across 50 venues and involving over 12,000 nationwide and Brunei.
