KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, mirroring the decline in the cash market.
August 2024 slid 14.0 points to 1,637.5, September 2024 dropped 13.5 points to 1,617.5, December 2024 eased 12.5 points to 1,623.5 and March 2025 fell 12.0 points to 1,611.0.
Turnover slipped to 7,688 lots from 13,525 on Tuesday, while open interest receded to 52,143 contracts from 55,328 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI was 0.45 per cent, or 7.45 points lower at 1,635.32, compared with yesterday’s close of 1,642.77.
