NEW YORK, Aug 30 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Thursday, reported Xinhua.
The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery gained US$1.39, or 1.87 per cent, to settle at US$75.91 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude for October delivery added US$1.29, or 1.64 per cent, to settle at US$79.94 a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
