RIYADH, Oct 17 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, met on Thursday with Malaysia's Ambassador to the Kingdom and its Permanent Representative to the OIC, Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, at the Malaysian Embassy in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), both sides discussed enhancing the ties of multilateral working relations, coordination, and constructive cooperation between the permanent representatives to advance the OIC.
Additionally, they reviewed aspects of joint Islamic work between the two missions to reinforce the OIC's goals, aimed at bringing prosperity, stability, and peace to the Islamic world.
The discussions also focused on strengthening Islamic solidarity and coordination in addressing common challenges and shared concerns, as well as recent developments within the OIC framework. They also reviewed the organisation's efforts across various fronts.
