ALOR SETAR, Dec 4 (Bernama) -- The stretch of the North-South Expressway (NSE) between Jitra and Hutan Kampung, from KM32.1 to KM33.2, which had been closed for several days due to flooding, has been reopened today.
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS), via its official Facebook page, announced that the right lane in both directions is now open to traffic. However, the left lane in both directions remains closed.
On Saturday, PLUS announced the temporary closure of the Jitra to Hutan Kampung stretch due to flooding. As a result, vehicles heading north were diverted off the highway at the Alor Setar Utara Interchange and were redirected back onto the highway via the Jitra Selatan Interchange.
