GRS To Discuss Seat Allocation For State Election This Sunday - Hajiji

KOTA KINABALU, Feb 18 (Bernama) -- Sabah’s ruling coalition, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), is scheduled to hold a special meeting this Sunday to discuss seat allocation for its component parties for the 17th State Election.

Its chairman, Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, said the meeting would also look into the coalition’s preparations for the state election, as well as other issues related to its component parties.

“Among the main agenda of the meeting is to decide the seat allocation for GRS (component parties),” he told reporters after the launch of the petroleum oil storage and refining plant project at the Sabah International Convention Centre here today.

GRS comprises eight component parties, namely Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Sabah STAR), United Sabah National Organisation (USNO), Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (PHRS), Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS).

The 16th Sabah State Election was held on Sept 26, 2020.
