Pavilion Bukit Jalil Launches ‘Kemeriahan Bersama’ Raya Celebration With BoBoiBoy

KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- Pavilion Bukit Jalil has officially launched its festive Hari Raya celebration, ‘Kemeriahan Bersama’, blending nostalgia with modern storytelling to create an immersive shopping and cultural experience.

The celebration was officiated by Pavilion Kuala Lumpur marketing director Kung Suan Ai, who highlighted the spirit of unity and joy that defines the event.

“Hari Raya is all about togetherness and creating exciting experiences. Thus, we have launched ‘Kemeriahan Bersama’ in collaboration with BoBoiBoy, one of Malaysia’s most beloved superheroes,” she said.

More than just a character, Kung said BoBoiBoy represents unity, friendship and courage -- qualities that resonate with the spirit of the celebration.

In conjunction with the festivities, Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s Centre Court has been transformed into a vibrant Raya haven featuring traditional decorations, festive merchandise booths and cultural performances.

A key highlight of the event is BoBoiBoy’s Kokotiam, where visitors can enjoy interactive meet-and-greet sessions and stage performances.

Aside from the meet-and-greet sessions, visitors can also enjoy a variety of fun-filled activities throughout Ramadan.

For young shoppers and gaming enthusiasts, Pavilion Bukit Jalil will host Malaysia’s first trading card game, MONSTA GALAXY CARD Tournament, on March 15-16 and March 22-23, offering participants the chance to compete in a special Raya-themed card battle.

Meanwhile, families can participate in the Hari Raya Icing Cookie Deco Workshop by Good Times DIY on March 8 and 9, where they can decorate their own festive treats, while enjoying weekly traditional performances such as Ghazal Instrumental Performances and the Orkes Melayu Singing Band.

Beyond the festivities, Pavilion Bukit Jalil also embraced the true spirit of Kemeriahan Bersama by giving back to the community through charitable initiatives.

“We’re sharing the joy of BoBoiBoy not just with shoppers but also with underprivileged children. Today, we welcomed around 100 kids from Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Penjagaan Nur Hidayah, who were thrilled to meet their superhero and receive festive goodie bags and duit Raya,” said Kung.

To add to the festive cheer, Pavilion Bukit Jalil is rewarding shoppers with exclusive festive redemption.

Visitors who spend RM150 and above can redeem exclusive Raya packets in two designs, those spending RM400 or more will receive a BoBoiBoy stationery set, while those spending RM800 or more will receive a BoBoiBoy lunch box set, Raya packets and an exclusive flask.
