KUANTAN, June 23 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, extended their condolences to Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on the passing of his wife earlier this morning.
Their Majesties, through a Facebook post today, prayed that the soul of the late Puan Sri Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang be placed among the faithful and righteous.
"Their Majesties also hoped that all matters for the family of the deceased will be eased and that they remain strong in the face of losing a loved one," the post read.
Juma'ani, 76, passed away at a private medical centre at 3:34 am today, and her remains were laid to rest at the Samariang Muslim Cemetery in Petra Jaya at 1:52 pm.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail also expressed similar condolences, stating that Juma'ani's passing would undoubtedly have a profound impact on the Sarawak Premier and his family.
"May her soul be blessed with mercy and placed among the believers," he said via a post on his Facebook page today.
