SANLIURFA (Turkiye), April 14 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- At least 16 people were injured when a former student opened fire at a high school in Sanliurfa, Turkiye, on Tuesday, Anadolu Ajansi reported.
Governor Hasan Sildak confirmed the incident, stating that no fatalities were reported.
The injured reportedly included four teachers, 10 students, a police officer and a canteen worker.
Authorities said the suspect fired indiscriminately before taking his own life.
Emergency teams were dispatched to the scene, and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
