NEW YORK, April 20 (Bernama-WAFA) -- The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territory, Francesca Albanese, described the Israeli occupation army as “the most depraved army,” in response to a video showing Israeli soldiers mistreating a Palestinian child, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
“I have seen enough to say it with absolute certainty: The Israeli army is the most depraved army,” said Albanese in a post on her official X account, sharing a video showing Israeli soldiers assaulting a Palestinian child.
In a related context, Albanese said her life has been under threat since the publication of her report accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
In an interview with The Guardian, she added that she has received death threats and has been living in a constant sense of danger since the report’s release.
