KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil presented 30 units of computer to the D11 team of Selangor police contingent headquarters Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to strengthen investigation capabilities in the face of increasingly complex digital crime threats.
He said the initiative also reflects the importance of cooperation between the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in protecting women, children and vulnerable groups, as well as ensuring that the country's digital space remains safe.
"Highest appreciation to all PDRM personnel for their services, sacrifices and commitment in preserving national peace," he said in a Facebook post today.
Fahmi also hopes that PDRM will continue to persevere in the fight against digital crimes.
