MAKKAH, May 31 (Bernama-SPA) -- The guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Programme for Haj, Umrah and Visit, implemented by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, departed Makkah for Madinah, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

They departed after completing this year’s haj rituals in a spiritual atmosphere marked by tranquillity and serenity, supported by a comprehensive system of services and care provided by the Kingdom for pilgrims.

The guest pilgrims, representing 104 countries from around the world, expressed their deep satisfaction at completing the haj rituals, from standing at Arafat and proceeding to Muzdalifah, to staying in Mina and performing the stoning of the Jamarat during the Days of Tashreeq, culminating in the Farewell Tawaf (farewell circumambulation).

They said the meticulous organisation and comprehensive services they experienced enabled them to perform the rituals with ease and comfort.

They expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the care and attention accorded to pilgrims.

They also commended the facilities and services provided by the Kingdom, which contributed to the success of their spiritual journey and the safe performance of their rituals with confidence and peace of mind.
