PSD Launches Strategic Plan For Human Resource Psychology Services 2026-2030

PUTRAJAYA, June 19 (Bernama) -- The Public Service Department (PSD) today launched the Human Resources Psychology Services Strategic Plan 2026-2030 which outlines 12 strategies, 22 programmes and 48 key performance indicators (KPIs) to strengthen the psychological well-being of civil servants.

PSD in a post on its official Facebook page announced that the strategic plan was launched at the PSD Monthly Assembly for June 2026 with the theme "R&R (Rest and Treat) Your Soul", which was officiated by the Director-General of Public Service Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz here.

According to PSD, among the main messages conveyed by Wan Ahmad Dahlan was the concept of "Treat" which requires civil servants to act proactively by taking intervention steps through the courage to dismantle stigma, voice problems and obtain professional support services when needed.

"The well-being of an organisation starts with the well-being of its people. Let us together cultivate positive support, eliminate the stigma against psychological services and practise effective self-care.

"Rest when you are tired and take care of your soul before it gets worse," according to the PSD.

The "Rawat" concept in the public service refers to proactive intervention measures to address mental health and well-being issues for employees, which was introduced by PSD to complement other reform strategies such as the H.E.M.A.T work culture which is governance shift, public empathy, progressive mindset, innovation appreciation and transparent administration.
