MUAR, June 25 (Bernama) -- Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin tonight announced the list of 16 party candidates who will contest in the 16th Johor State Election.
The announcement was made at the Bersatu Candidates Announcement and Public Ceramah event at the Pagoh Parliamentary Service Centre in Taman Pagoh Jaya, here.
The following is the list of Bersatu candidates:
N4 Kemelah : Uzzair Ismail
N7 Bukit Kepong : Datuk Dr Sahrudin Jamal
N8 Bukit Pasir : Mohd Idzharruddin Mohd Nasirruddin
N11 Serom : Mahfidz Omar
N14 Bukit Naning : Mohd Radzi Amin
N20 Semarang : Muhammad Syafiq Abdul Aziz
N22 Parit Raja : Dr Mohamed Maliki Mohamed Rapiee
N24 Senggarang : Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon
N25 Rengit : Syed Mohamad Syed Alwi
N27 Layang-Layang : Abd Mutalip Abd Rahim.
N33 Tenggaroh : Muhamad Amerul Muhamad
N34 Panti : Alias Rasman
N36 Sedili : Rasman Ithnain
N37 Johor Lama : Aisah Esa
N38 Penawar : Fairulnizar Rahmat
N45 Stulang : Lim Chin Eng @ Roland Lim
The Election Commission (EC) has set June 27 as nomination day for the Johor State Election, while polling will take place on July 11. The Johor State Assembly was dissolved on June 1.
