KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) aims to strengthen its strategic collaboration with Yayasan Hasanah to expand access to quality education and nurture more of the nation's top talent.
Its Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir said the matter was discussed during a meeting with Yayasan Hasanah, a foundation under Khazanah Nasional Bhd, which focused on education, community development, the environment, arts and culture, as well as capacity building.
“During the meeting, I was briefed on the Khazanah Watan Scholarship Programme and the Khazanah Equity Pathway, which aim to expand access to quality education and create more pathways for Malaysian students to develop their potential.
“Since its establishment in 2006, Yayasan Khazanah has played an important role in developing the nation's human capital by providing scholarships, leadership training and talent development opportunities to more than 1,792 students,” he said in a Facebook post tonight.
He expressed hope that the strategic collaboration between MOHE and Yayasan Hasanah would continue to be strengthened to produce more outstanding national talent capable of driving Malaysia's future development.
