KUANTAN, June 12 (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today visited Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur.
News about the visit was posted on the Pahang Royal House Facebook page, saying that the Pahang Ruler arrived at IJN at 3 pm and spent about half an hour chatting and sharing words of encouragement with Wan Rosdy.
Al-Sultan Abdullah was also briefed by IJN's Cardiothoracic Surgery Department head, Prof Datuk Dr Alwi Mohamed Yunus, on Wan Rosdy's condition following his heart surgery on June 7.
In a video posted on the Facebook page yesterday, Al-Sultan Abdullah ordered a surau in Cameron Highlands that the Pahang Ruler visited to pray for Wan Rosdy's recovery, saying he is a good Menteri Besar.
Meanwhile, on his Facebook page, Wan Rosdy expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the concern shown by Al-Sultan Abdullah regarding his health.
"May Allah SWT bestow blessings on His Royal Highness and grant the Sultan health and well-being," he added.
