KUALA LUMPUR, July 3 (Bernama) -- Siab Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a RM176.18 million construction project from Exsim Noordin Sdn Bhd.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Siab said the contract was for main building and infrastructure works for a project located in George Town, Penang.
“The project includes alteration and addition for seven units of existing two-storey heritage buildings and the conversion of the upper level of two units of existing two-storey heritage buildings at Jalan CY Choy from ‘residential’ to ‘commercial’.
“It also includes the construction of a 603-unit 29-storey serviced apartment building including shops, car park and recreation facilities,” it said.
Siab added that the project is slated to be completed in 30 months from the date of possession of the project site on Aug 1, 2024.
