KUCHING, Dec 18 (Bernama) -- Local and international rock artistes from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore will be shaking up the 'jungle' of Sarawak on Dec 28 and 29 through the 'Rock In The Jungle' (RITJ) concert at the Sarawak Cultural Village.
RITJ spokesperson, Zaini Zainuddin, said that among the rock bands performing will be Wings, Sweet Charity, XPDC, Jemson, Criss X, JS Boys, Edane, Candy, Criss X, Senseless, and BNB Band.
"In addition, we will bring 10 local bands to perform from 2 to 6 pm.
"The main stage in the evening will feature performances by top artistes. This concert serves as a platform for local bands to perform alongside famous rock stars and strengthening ties within the music community," he said at a press conference at Damai Central today.
Zaini added that rock fans, both from within Sarawak and outside, can purchase early tickets priced at RM188 for a one-day pass and RM350 for a two-day pass.
He added that the early ticket promotion will be extended until Dec 22 and further details can be found on the website ticketmelon.com/kanzenarena/rockinthejungle.
