KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Mavenir, the cloud-native network infrastructure provider, and Spry Fox Networks (SFN), a pioneer in application programming interface (API) monetisation and network exposure, have entered into a strategic partnership.
The partnership aimed at transforming the way communication service providers (CSPs) can monetise their networks and offer innovative API-driven services to aggregators, hyperscalers, and application service providers.
Mavenir Senior Vice President and General Manager, Digital Business Enablement, Sandeep Singh expressed excitement about the partnership that offer its customers an integrated solution that simplifies the exposure and monetisation of network services.
“This collaboration will enable CSPs to unlock new revenue potential, drive business agility, and meet the growing demand for innovative, API-driven services in the telecommunications industry,” he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, SFN Head 5G, Jignesh Sorathia said this combined expertise will help CSPs move towards a more flexible, API-first model, supporting a wide range of verticals, including 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and beyond.
Through this partnership, Mavenir’s robust, next-generation telecom offerings will be integrated with SFN’s advanced API monetisation platform, enabling CSPs to unlock new revenue streams by exposing and monetising their network services.
This joint solution allows CSPs to manage the entire lifecycle of network-based API services, from onboarding and exposure to monetisation, analytics, and monitoring, while maintaining full control over access and usage.
Key highlights of the partnership include GSMA-certified Open Gateway, where SFN’s QP Cloud MONET (QPCM) platform is the first to achieve Open Gateway API Certification, while Mavenir’s Digital Enablement solutions are integrated to streamline BSS, charging, mediation, partner management, billing, and settlement, reducing the time to launch and fully monetise API products through various charging models.
Mavenir’s Combo Network Exposure Function and Service Capability Exposure Function (NEF/SCEF) system enables third-party applications to access network APIs, delivering faster time-to-market for Open Gateway APIs when combined with Mavenir’s Core solutions. The integrated solution offers CSPs a fast, low-risk method for launching Open Gateway APIs, allowing them to generate new revenue streams without disrupting their existing network and business systems.
The partnership aims to accelerate digital transformation for CSPs, enabling them to evolve in a rapidly changing telecommunications landscape and seize opportunities in the growing API economy.
