JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 20 (Bernama) -- Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, today bid goodbye to the Acting Sultan of Johor Tunku Mahkota Ismail and his family, who were leaving for the Holy Land from the Senai International Airport to perform umrah (minor haj), according to a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook page.
Several images of the event were also posted on the social media page.
Tunku Mahkota Ismail was accompanied by Che' Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor, Raja Muda Johor Tunku Iskandar Ibni Tunku Ismail, and Their Royal Highnesses' children.
Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim were also in attendance.
Also present were Johor Royal Court Council president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahim Ramli, the State Secretary Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani and the Johor Mufti Datuk Yahya Ahmad.
